Poem on Nature
Vibrant colors in the sky
Appear after the rain.
The colors so uniquely lie
It’s arch can keep one sane.
Such an extraordinary sight to see,
This rainbow up above.
It fills my heart with glee,
And is as graceful as the dove.
This magnificent beauty God has surely placed;
Shows us His love, mercy and grace.
My invention!
If I could invent anything, I would invent a car. Not only could you drive the car, but with the click of a button the car could be able to transform into any moving object. It would help save you money buy not having to buy airline or cruise ticket. You would have our own plane or boat ! Beds and bathrooms would be included in the car. For those long,tyring trips. The car would also be a hybrid. So while driving and flying, we are helping the economy a little. That is what I would invent .
MOVIE!
I love watching movies. Unfortunately, I don’t have a favorite movie. One movie I really like is ”Miracle in the Woods”. It ’s about two sisters whose mother just died. The sisters try to split up all their mother’s possessions evenly, including her property. One of the sisters was in debt and her husband was in jail. So she was trying to get her sister to sell their land. They disagree on selling, but the one sister sells anyway. While wandering on the property, they find an unusual surprise. This surprise brings the relationship between the two sisters closer. I don’t want to give the ending away. Your going to have to watch the movie to find out what the ending is. “Miracle in the Woods” is just such a good movie! My mom, Emily, and I were sobbing through the whole thing. Not only did it make me cry like a baby, but it made me realize life is short and every breath could be your last. Also, never give up on God. You could spend your whole life searching for something and finally God gives it when you least expect it. Watching this movie made my relationship with my sisters stronger. It also, strengthened my relationship with God. That is how this movie affected me.
Thanksgiving! =]]
I really love the holidays. Every year and every holiday my family meets at my grandparents house. Meeting at their house every year is one of our family traditions. I like seeing all my family. I never have a dull moment when I am with them. This Thanksgiving was so much fun. We played football. My nephew made some touchdowns. Oh and Emily flipped off my uncle. Watching her try to flip was hysterical! It was one of those moments where you had to be there. Tyler and Jace rode around in those little electric cars. They were pretending to be cops. Tyler was chasing everyone around my grandma’s yard, and he was trying to arrest them. They caught me and cuffed me to a chair! After everyone was done playing it was turkey time! When we were done, everyone went back outside and just hung out. After we left my grandparents we stopped by Tyler’s grandparent’s house. His biological mom was in town so we let him visit with her. Before we went there we dropped off some food for one of my dad’s friends. He just got laid off from work and he couldn’t afford to buy any. I’m just glad we got to help and visit with someone who was in need. That’s what thanksgiving is really about just being thankful and spending time with people you love. I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!

Wow, this weekend was really fun! Julie came over and like always we got in trouble. My mom said we were way to hyper, and that we were being to loud. The highlight of my weekend was when Julie was talking to my D.S.! On Saturday we went to my church. I felt so bad for my mommy because she fell. My church was having a laughter workshop, and my mom was just laughing so hard she literally fell down. I’ve never seen my mom like that before. After that was over my mom took us to the new “Neighborhood Store”. I love their Hawaiian Shaved Ice! Julie had a coffee ice cream. When we got back to my house Julie was passed out. I thought coffee was supposed to make you stay awake. While Julie crashed, I started doing my homework. I am super excited. My nephew Jace is coming over tomorrow. Jace is going to spend the night too! After church tomorrow we are taking them to Chuck E. Cheese’s. Tyler and Jace love that place so much. Oh yea, I forgot we went to the mall today too! I guess you could say it was an interesting experience. This was just an all around great weekend!
Emotions and Seasons =]]
Summer, Spring, Winter, Fall seasons of the year
Every month or so is something new
But emotions HA they are so lame
The ground is covered in leaves and the sky is blue
Sometimes I wish our emotions just stayed the same
Fluffy snow in winter and pretty flowers during spring
Happy, sad, tired, bored, excited, crazy
The seasons sometimes make people sing
Those are some emotions; my favorite is being lazy
Summer is great! We are out of school.
Emotions, I guess aren’t so bad
Those are the best days to go in the pool!
If we didn’t have them we would never be happy or sad
Watching the leaves change from green to brown
I get excited because watching the change is such a pretty view
Or building a snowman on the ground
No matter what season you will always have something to do
Mr. Smith goes to Washington! =]]
Mr. Smith goes to Washington is a very long movie. It was about a man who goes to Washington and becomes a Senator and tries to pass a bill. In the beginning of the movie one of the Senators (Horus Miller) dies. Since the Senator”s death everyone wanted Jefferson Smith to be the new Senator. They had a Star Spangle Banner banquet for Senator Pain and for Jefferson Smith. Jefferson Smith was now sworn into the Senate . Smith set out for Washington. On his way there he was getting interviewed but the reporters twisted his words and made him look bad. Pain and Smith had to go to a Senator’s meeting. Before Smith went with Pain he decided to go to Mt. Vernon to learn some history.
When Senator Smith gets to Washington he gets into a fight with the reporters because of all the lies the wrote about him. Pain encourages Smith to pass a bill for a boys camp. The purpose of the bill was to get boys from all over the country, different races, and different ways of living and getting them together. Pain tried to get Smith expelled from the Senate. James Taylor and Joe Pain had a meeting and they tried to make Smith resign, and then they framed him. Taylor wrote lies about Jefferson. Clarissa Sanders( Smith’s secretary) helps Jefferson. She calls the paper people and they agreed to write good, nice, and true things about Smith. The paper boys delivered the paper that told the truth about Smith to the people. But some people still don’t like him and don’t believe the news paper.
While they are having the meeting, Pain is still trying to get Smith expelled. Pain decided to leave the meeting . All of the other Senators left too and followed Pain’s action. In there Smith was telling everyone how he had been framed. Nobody believed him or liked him. Senator Smith was getting really stressed out. It was to the point of where he fainted! After that had happened Pain came clean. He told the Senate and the President that he should be expelled and not Smith. Joe explained how he was wrong and how everything Jefferson said was true. Jefferson Smith got his bill passed. That is what happened when Mr. Smith went to Washington!
